Well, my feet didn't have trouble breathing this run but I felt I did. My heart rate regularly went to 170 (and sometimes beyond). Even when I slowed my pace to almost walking my heart rate didn't come down much. The lacking performance of this run could be cause by one or more of the following:
Earlier this week I stabbed myself in the hand with a paring knife. The reason for the accident is that I have been extremely sleepy/tired since Monday. I am still not sure if it's because I have some underlying sick or because I haven't been sleeping well. Right after the accident I got even more tired than I was - stress of the trauma? I got a tetanus shot for the wound and it's still sore over 48 hours later. Trust me you are very aware of your left deltoid after a shot.
So although I'm not feeling elated about this run I think I will go on to week4
Resistance Training
Put on hold until next week since Wednesday I was underlying sick and today my delt is still sore from the shot.
