(Re)Started W5. This time I laced my feet decently and they did not hurt – win! On the other hand everything else was better at it last week - boo. Today I felt heavy and had to walk during part of the last run section. My heart rate now goes down quickly during the walks but it also gets to 170 faster than I would like. A group of runners passed me on my run. From what I can tell they are from the area college. Logically I know they are younger than I are in better shape and have probably been running as a thing for years, but I still felt bad. Sigh.
Today I feel like my body is exhausted. I need to be careful not to overdo it on the weekends. Two progressive runs, a long bike ride, a kung-fu class happen and more happen over four days. I keep planning to do yoga or pilates on one of my off days but for now I think I need both days to completely rest.
